Yeah, so yesterday I mentioned that !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ... This turned into a serious issue, where I pulled more of a HW haul than I ever have before. So, I guess you'll be wanting to know what I got...

Almost all these are available for sale, trade, or free gifts. However, I still want to keep all of them, so we'll just see how it goes... Luke (Luke's 2000TL's V-Tec Kicks In) gets first crack at any he wants, cause he is sending me a white M3.

First up, I love this one. This is fantastic. There will be no trading this one for a regular car. Probably. I did buy one extra to keep for myself.

Flash potato photography is just going to have to do, tonight.

Yes, I got two Paganis, so have at one if you like.

This Lotus Project M250 is bright orange, even though it looks a bit red.

I'd also like to take this time to acknowledge my beautiful and loving wife, who was with me when I bought most of these and I am still married.

Well, some people hate on the Hot Wheels posts, so I felt the need to acknowledge that not everyone likes them. I have seen lots of posts lately, I think we come out of the woodwork when we realize other people collect these too. The last 3-4 months have been about how long the Hot Wheels Exchange has been going on, so I think that sparked someone.

Yup, it's a hobby. I buy tiny cars cause I can't afford real ones.

Normal price is about $1 in the USA. Today at Fred Meyer they were all about $0.50. Usually I spend about $0-3/month on Hot Wheels, this month apparently means I can't buy any more for a while!

Woah, Woah, WOAH!? They are only $1 a piece? I figured they were closer to $3.50-7.50 a pop like Lionel NASCAR diecasts of that size. Pretty cheap hobby.

Exactly! So I buy one every other week or so and it keeps me happy. I will mention that the Italian Job Mini is usually $4.50 but today was $2.25. But all the regular blister pack cars are $1. Same price for Matchbox.

The color scheme on the 458 is killing me, thus why I haven't picked it up yet. Black would be okay, but black with Pep Boys racing stripes???

I bought almost $30 worth the other day. OF NORMAL CARS. Oh and a five pack. Now that's a problem. My girlfriend was with me and while she was very embarrassed, I managed to keep her.

This is exactly why I've gotten back into collecting them. They are stupid cheap, and it's the closest I'll ever get to owning some of my dream cars.

I don't collect them all, just the ones that are significant to me. The Aston Martin DB5 for instance, because I'm a Bond fan. Or the Mars Curiosity Rover, because I've always been into NASA and space exploration.

The Exchange may have helped but most were collecting already (myself included) but did not think anybody else was interested. It's a simple, fun, and affordable hobby. Like many, I just buy what i think is cool and enjoy hunting them.

Since December I've purchased over 30, mostly regular cars. Probably picked up 5 or 6 die-casts as well. I don't think I can post to Oppo, but I've been taking pictures of them and hope to one day share some of my collection (including the old Lesney Matchbox and Red Line Hot Wheels that I have from my childhood).

I saw the blue one yesterday, but didn't have the money for it. :(

Again people this is not a problem, it's a passion - found a Lancia Stratos in red with gold wheels (2002 series at a swap meet for only 2 bucks!). Still in package now but that won't last - got two boys so the perfect excuse is built in. Will post when Oppo authorship hits (nudge-nudge, wink-wink). In the meantime see my post with some pretty planes .
